Questions
Free neon signs for cafés, barbershops, takeaways, bars, salons, clinics and shops. See the guides for TV setup and sign ideas.
How do I show a neon sign on my shop TV?
Open neonyes.com in your TV's web browser, pick a sign and press Show on screen. You can also design the sign on your phone, press Copy sign link for your TV, and open that link on the TV. The sign starts by itself.
Is Neonyes free?
Yes. Every sign, icon, color and animation is free to use. A small neonyes.com mark shows in the corner of the screen.
Can the sign switch to CLOSED by itself?
Yes. Turn on Opening hours and set your times. Outside those hours the screen shows a CLOSED sign with the time you reopen, or turns black so the TV can sleep. It switches back when you open again, including for late-night hours that run past midnight.
Can I show a countdown?
Yes. Switch any line from Words to Timer and enter days, hours, minutes and seconds. The countdown starts when the sign goes on screen and blinks at zero.
Will a sign running all day damage my TV?
Neonyes moves the sign a few pixels every few minutes, which helps prevent burn-in on OLED and plasma screens, and the dark walls keep most of the screen dim. Turning the TV off when the shop is closed is still the best protection.
Which TVs and devices work?
Any screen with a modern web browser: smart TVs, Fire TV Stick, Google TV and Android TV boxes, tablets, or a laptop connected by HDMI. If the glow looks slow on an older TV, choose the light glow quality.
Do I need internet the whole time?
The page needs internet to load. Once the sign is on screen it keeps running if the connection drops, and the opening-hours switch uses the device's own clock.
